Editorial Policy

Purpose

AIAppDrop is a curated directory of AI apps, operated by Happy Mynds (Editor / Operator). Our job is to help people discover tools with clear pricing signals, categories, and a short path to the official product — not to manufacture review-style essays for every listing.

How tools get listed

Tools may be added through editorial research or via a free Submit a Tool request. We look for a working website, a clear use case, and enough public information to place the product in a category. Acceptance does not mean endorsement, partnership, or that we have personally stress-tested every feature.

What we publish on tool pages

Tool pages prioritize unique copy from the listing (description, features when available) plus structured facts such as pricing model, free tier, API, open-source status, and platforms. We do not pad pages with shared boilerplate paragraphs that could apply to any product. Pricing and capabilities change — treat our snapshot as a starting point and confirm details on the vendor site.

Ratings & scores

We do not invent star ratings, review scores, or fake testimonials. If a numeric ranking or popularity signal appears, it is an internal directory ordering aid — not an independent product review or user rating aggregate.

Thin listings

Some pages are stubs: short descriptions and little or no unique feature detail. Those pages may be marked noindex and omitted from the sitemap until we have enough unique editorial content. They can still exist for navigation and discovery inside the site.

Corrections

Found outdated pricing, a wrong category, a dead link, or a misleading blurb? Email happy.mynds@gmail.com or use the contact page. We update listings when we can verify the change.

Independence

Listings are free. Paid placement or advertising (if enabled later) will be labeled and does not rewrite our factual fields. We are not affiliated with every product shown. See also the Disclaimer.
