A plain-language look at what we collect on AIAppDrop and why.
Who we are
AIAppDrop (“we”, “us”) runs aiappdrop.com, a curated directory of AI tools. This policy explains how we handle information when you browse the site, submit a tool, or email us.
What we collect
Analytics. We may use Google Analytics 4 (or a similar analytics provider) to understand which pages get visited, roughly where traffic comes from, and what devices people use. Providers may process IP addresses and other technical data under their own terms.
Advertising. If Google AdSense or similar networks are enabled, they may use cookies or similar tech to show ads and measure performance. Ad personalization settings are controlled through Google (or the relevant ad partner).
Tool submissions. When you submit a product, we collect the details you send — things like tool name, website, description, and your contact email — so we can review the listing and follow up if needed. Submissions may be stored via Google Forms or another form backend we configure.
Email. If you write to happy.mynds@gmail.com, we keep the message and your address long enough to reply and handle the request.
Browser storage. Theme preference and optional “My Stack” favorites stay in your browser’s local storage. That data does not get uploaded to our servers.
How we use it
We use information to run and improve the directory, review submissions, measure site performance, show ads (when enabled), and respond to you. We do not sell your personal information.
Cookies & local storage
Cookies may be set by analytics or advertising partners. You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings; some features (and ads) may work less well if you do. Local storage is used only for on-device preferences like theme and saved tools.
Third parties
We rely on third-party services for things like fonts, analytics, ads, and form delivery. Those services have their own privacy policies. When you click “Visit” on a tool page, you leave AIAppDrop and go to a site we don’t control — their privacy practices apply there.
Retention
Submission and email correspondence are kept as long as they’re useful for review, support, or legal reasons, then deleted or archived when they no longer serve a purpose. Analytics data follows the retention settings of the provider we use.
Your choices
You can ask us to update or delete personal information you’ve sent (for example, an email thread or a submission contact record) by writing to us. You can also clear local storage and cookies in your browser at any time.
